Distinguishing features

How to put up your poster well

    • Ask first In a shop, at the baker or the vet, only put up a poster with permission. Ask politely: almost everyone says yes.
    • At eye level, where people wait At the till, on the door, on the notice board or in the waiting room. That is where people really read a poster.
    • Protect it from the rain Put the poster in a plastic sleeve or tape the edges. Check every few days that it is still there.
    • Posts and stops: only where allowed Fly-posting can get you a fine. Ask your municipality where you may put posters up.
    • Back home? Take them down Take your posters down and thank the shops. They will gladly help again next time.

    Have the microchip scanned

Call them: found animals are often brought in there, and they can scan a microchip.
